Little Farms Chapel

Coopersville, Michigan

Story

This rural farm community church finally outgrew it's "Chapel" status. The original building and basement was demolished and a 6,400 s.f. new pre-engineered metal building was provided to house a new 330 seat sanctuary, offices, classrooms, and nursery. This new addition was adjoined to an existing free standing building that contained a gymnasium, classrooms, storage, kitchen, and toilet rooms. The existing toilet rooms were remodeled and expanded. The main parking lot was doubled in size and completely paved. Omega Architects coordinated the fabrication and installation of a 4-panel, five foot diameter stained glass feature window in the gable of the main sanctuary peak above the stage. The sanctuary was designed to expand into the adjacent narthex. Omega also provided design work for a storage room addition and a two-story classroom/storage addition to the north and south of the existing gymnasium.
