Alpine Retail Center

Walker, Michigan

Architectural

Story

This project is a shining example of Omega's ability to understand building sitting and traffic flow and maximize each on a site with multiple restrictions. The project scope involved the removal of an existing multi-lane drive-up bank and it's replacement with a dual-occupant restaurant requiring a drive-up window. The seller also required the buyer to continue to accommodate a drive-up ATM kiosk on-site. The design resolved all these issues, while meeting all parking and sub-grade storm water detention requirements. The building design features a large ridge skylight that runs down the center of the building, flooding the interior with natural light. Another design feature is the ability for two separate tenants to occupy the building, while maintaining an internal access between the two.
