Alaskan Pipeline

Allendale, Michigan

Story

This 6,735 s.f. facility is one part family restaurant one part sports bar. The concept is to gear toward local families as well as the substantial young adults from the ever-growing local college. This facility is the first stand alone location for an owner who operates a half dozen similar restaurants in Indiana. The facility is currently being designed as a lightly rustic, Alaskan themed restaurant that will feature numerous animal mounts such as bear, elk, moose, beaver, etc. The interior will feature high, open ceiling girders with clerestory shed dormer windows and large, expansive lower windows to achieve a home-like atmosphere. Construction is expected to begin in spring of 2009. The combination of high ceilings, intimate table settings, rustic details, and the use of animal mount focal displays provides a unique dining experience.
