Small Business Administration

Story

The Small Business Administration opted to renew their lease, but wanted to freshen up.  With our design, we wanted to improve the functionality and efficiency of the space, as well as lift the atmosphere aesthetically.

We designed a clean, contemporary environment that projected a corporate feel.  The agency receives visits from the public on a daily basis, so it was important to project an image of transparency and competence.

Simple circulation routes help provide efficient use of the space.  Equipment is within easy reach of everyone.   The areas used by the public are placed near the entry.   The general work areas are not seen from the public corridor.  A reduction square footage used for files was achieved using high density files

A large conference center near the entry can be divided into two smaller rooms using a folding partition.  Executive conference rooms are placed near the senior staff offices.
