Rubloff wanted to capitalize on its stellar reputation in the field by developing a brand identity through certain architectural features and a selection of finishes and materials that tied in with its logo and collateral materials. A simple, professional and cost effective selection of finishes and materials were made to express their desired image. The standards were utilized in their Chicago headquarters and branch offices in cities across the country.  Rubloff's new flagship office on north Michigan Avenue needed to have a degree of elegance in the design of the space to appeal to the "gold coast" clientele. Among other things, the design team created a "chat room" in which Rubloff realtors could make their clients feel more "at home" while negotiating transactions. In addition, the use of a custom carpet pattern that has become a Rubloff standard, light maple millwork, glass and an art collection of historical photographs taken of the local area, have become part of the Rubloff office signature.
