Story

This health care project involved the design of a new Cancer Care facility within a converted retail property in Morton Grove, Illinois.  A cooperative entity of Resurrection Health Care and St. Francis Hospital of Evanston, the 7,000-square foot Hope Cancer Care Center is dedicated to providing hope, compassion and superior cancer care to the communities it serves.  Oncology care at the Hope Cancer Care Center is focused on cancer education, clinical expertise, expanding community and support programs, and early detection through extensive screening efforts.  The major goal of the Mekus Studios design team was to help make cancer seem less frightening and increase the consumer acceptance of screening and early detection services.
