Story

Conceived as a broad, semicircular pattern to visually lead the eye to the main entrance of the cemetery, the new Immaculate Heart of Mary Garden Crypt Complex at All Saints Cemetery adds 7,266 crypts and 960 niches to the cemetery. This initial phase is the first of three (3) phases that will ultimately increase the size of the project to 21,000 crypts and 3,000 niches.  The crypts are arranged symmetrically as a series of large rectangular blocks flanking a central courtyard with a skylit glass canopy. Additionally, the new complex features a 50’ tall pre-cast tower with images of Mary, a black granite fountain in the courtyard, and a gazebo with statue immediately west of the complex. The crypts are constructed entirely of pre-cast concrete with granite fronts. Many of the niche areas incorporate ceramic mosaic fronts depicting religious scenes associated with the image of Mary.
