Story

The new place of worship for Holy Spirit Catholic Church is located in rural Thomas Township, west of Saginaw, Michigan. The new worship space and chapel for Holy Spirit have been added to the building which the parish constructed in the 1960’s. The design evolved into a composition of three interlocking circles. The outer circle forms the outdoor gathering space which was designed for fellowship and outdoor celebrations, as well as opening the church to, and linking it with the surrounding community. The center circle forms the gathering space with the Baptismal Font located at its center. After passing the Font the worshiper enters the nave which seats 950 with additional seating for 100 located in the adjacent chapel.
