After being vacant for six years, the former Steelcase pyramid is now owned by Switch. Switch made many upgrades to the pyramid building to better fit their needs as a data center. One of the changes that stands out the most is the large red units attached to the outside of the building. These help the data storage servers inside stay cool. Materials Testing Consultants provided the geotechnical and construction materials engineering and testing services for this project.
