Story

The Apple Blossom Wind Farm project started construction in 2015. It is a 100 megawatt wind farm development in Huron County, Michigan. The wind farm spans across both McKinley and Windsor Townships. Once completed in October 2017, there will be 43 to 62 wind turbines installed on 11,000 acres of land. MTC was on-site performing testing and inspection services on the project consisting of concrete and backfill testing, crane pad earthwork, grout, and observation and proof-roll.
