The Pallottine Seminary at Green Hill is an historic structure located just outside of Washington DC in Prince George’s County, Maryland.  Since 1960, it was been home to the Society of the Catholic Apostolate, providing residences as well as a place for worship and congregation. It was the intention of the order to renovate this historic structure so that it can continue to serve its mission.

In 2007, the Pallottine Seminary at Green Hill retained M+J to undertake an architectural, structural and mechanical condition assessment of the seminary.  The objective of the study was to identify areas requiring repair and/or maintenance, provide existing architectural building plans, elevations and sections, and provide an evaluation of the architectural, structural condition and mechanical/electrical building systems.

Recommendations of how to best secure and renovate a historic structure were made to the Owner.  Additionally, the floor plans were modified slightly to better provide rooming units on the upper floors.
