Story

At the corner of Missouri and Washington streets in Indianapolis a gigantic hole was dug to accommodate a new Marriott complex.  To say that this project was big, would be an understatement.  When it is finished the site will house 4 hotels , over 1500 rooms, and more than 110,000 square feet of meeting space.  Kreager Brothers was responsible for the mass excavation of the basement and parking garage.  Overseen by Bob Lowes, this job consisted of approximately 22,000 loads of dirt being exported from the site!  The crew was able to stay ahead of schedule by excavating , on average, 280 loads per day; and with the addition of a night crew they topped out at 600 loads! "Hunt has been good to work with," says Bob Lowes,  speaking of Hunt Construction Group, General Contractor for the job.  Bob has " enjoyed working here."   As Kreager Brothers portion of the project neared completion the site became extremely crowded as crews from multiple contractors converged to dig footers and pour concrete for the massive parking structure that will accommodate future guests.  Thanks to the hard work, planning and coordination of the Indianapolis team Kreager Brothers was able to complete another contract on time.
