Caledonia, Michigan
Concrete-Contractor
This 275,000 square foot foundation package was installed right through the heart of a cold, snowy, Michigan winter. Careful coordination was required with the excavator to dig only the footing pads and strip footings that could be poured the same day. Blanketing and temporary heat was applied and monitored to insure proper curing of freshly poured concrete.
Over 700 lineal feet of concrete wall, up to 35 feet tall, was required for various below grade areas. There were also some architectural finished concrete retaining walls near the main entrance which required a two-sided form liner.
All of this work was completed within the project timeline due to the experience of Kent Companies’ employees.
