Story

Imagine Schools is a national charter school management company operating 73 schools in 12 states and the District of Columbia.  The goal of each school is to provide parents in the area with a tuition-free choice in their child’s education.

The Imagine Schools on Broadway project successfully transformed a vacant church/school facility in a low socio-economic district into a learning community for children living near downtown Fort Wayne. 

In addition to the construction of 21 new and renovated classrooms, the project team coordinated the removal of environmental hazards, addressed accessibility concerns, and improved the performance of the building envelope.  The teamwork and dedication of the client, architect, and contractor resulted in a unique and sterling example of construction for a greater good.
