Story

Birch will be a neighborhood coffee shop located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan specializing in organic and free trade coffee and tea, organic beer and wine, and all natural food.

Through implementing design elements (such as communal tables) and supporting local artist and musicians, Birch will position itself as a community hub for socialization and entertainment.  This familiar, comfortable atmosphere will provide its customers with a “third place”, a location in addition to their home or office where they can feel at ease whether they are dining in or taking their coffee on the road.
