Project: Bellin Health Escanaba
Pleased with the quality work on its Iron Mountain Clinic, Bellin Health quickly hired Moyle Construction to complete renovations on the Escanaba Clinic as well.
Project: Anytime Fitness - Richfield
The Community Health Center of Branch County hired Triangle to remodel the second and third floor nursing units of their facility and build a new mechanical penthouse to supply support floors. A key challenge facing this project is keeping the construction separate and safe from the remaining areas on the floors, which will be occupied throughout the renovation process. To minimize disruption and save time, the two floors will be renovated in three phases, each phase having the construction activities take place in the same location on the two separate floors.
EAPC was first commissioned to provide limited schematic design services to the extent of preparing/reviewing functional and spatial programs, developing preliminary layouts and project budges for the facility.
EAPC was subsequently awarded the project that developed from the initial study.
The program included a 73,000 SF student wellness facility featuring a 3-court gymnasium with cross-court championship court, racquetball courts, climbing wall, elevated indoor walk/running track, cardio and weight areas, fitness floor, group exercise rooms, locker rooms, family locker room, expanded Division 1 varsity locker rooms and instruction facilities, conference rooms, and juice bar.
EAPC services included master planning, programming, code analysis, site development and parking, architecture, interior design, structural/civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, cost estimating and rendering.

Project: Spectrum Health Medical Group
Project: Northpointe
The Northpointe Medical Center provides a statement of practicality and flexibility for a health clinic within an elegant rectilinear brick shell. Beyond typical exam rooms and offices, a strong vision of health awareness and weight loss assistance inspired the insertion of a modern café within the comfortable two-story lobby space, along with various programmatic elements such as a teaching kitchen, fitness center, laboratory, and large meeting rooms. Exterior materials extend to the interior seamlessly through sections of curtain wall glazing, providing continuity to the landscape. The building’s formal simplicity belies its sophisticated technology within and fits comfortably with its surrounding context.
Project: Cozart Medical Center
The Cozart medical office building explores a low-impact design approach to the conventional suburban office building. Located in the tidal basin region of Myrtle Beach, a sustainable strategy toward stormwater management influenced the integrated approach to civil, landscape and building design. Various stormwater techniques are explored allowing for 100% on-site rainwater capture including green roof, infiltration trenches, rain garden, pervious paving and peat moss gardens which absorb tremendous quantities of water while allowing a variety of indigenous species to flourish. Heat gain and natural ventilation techniques were also employed to inform the design.
THE KING CO., INC. was contracted to install helical foundation piers to support the expansion of the Plant. The piers were design/built to the foundation loads provided by the structural engineer.
Food service and handling have specific, government-regulated temperature tolerances and sanitation requirements. Along with medical gas, this is one of Godwin Plumbing's specialties.
Request Foods, of Holland, MI, recently added a second production facility on Greenly St. north of their existing building. Polarity Electric Inc., saw the project through from preliminary design and engineering to the installation of building electrical needs. Polarity's electricians installed all of the building's electrical systems starting with the customer owned high voltage work and continuing through the process wiring and information technology infrastructure. We look forward to continuing our ongoing partnership with Request Foods.

The prominent new single-story facility houses Wedgwood’s specialized prevention, counseling and educational services. Built adjacent to Wedgwood’s Huizenga Center, the facility also provides corridor access between two existing buildings. The floor plan is comprised of discrete counseling spaces for individual interaction, common support areas for group counsel, spacious open offices and conference rooms for support staff and common spaces where staff can comfortably unwind.
Entering the facility, patients are welcomed by a twenty-seven foot, custom curved wood veneer reception desk, complimented by a lighting trellis and decorative lit resin panels. The warm and inviting décor not only creates an immediate level of comfort, it truly represents the agreeable nature of the Wedgwood staff.
EXXEL Engineering provided topographical and boundary surveys as well as easements descritpions, civil engineering and drafting services for site grading, underground utilities, drainage and access drives and parking lots and construction staking of improvements and part-time site inspection during the construction phase.
