The Maragoudakis residence is a single family home located on a grid lot within a gated community offering a private escape within it's context. The homes program is composed of three bedrooms, four baths, living, dinning, kitchen, home theater, office space, terraces, pool, two car garage with a golf cart space and a car port.

With the use of new building components as layers, spacious living areas were defined to provide views within and beyond the properties borders while maintaining privacy. Building materials were utilized to distinguish the various layers that define the living spaces. With layers creating borders and transitions within the property and layers functioning as shells enclosing different spaces the Maragoudakis residence is a balance of privacy, natural lighting, ventilation and functionality.
