Story

ERMCO's work on this project included Historical Lighting Renovation, Custom Furniture Package, Electrical Distribution, Emergency Electrical Distribution System, Busway and CableTray Systems, Fire Alarm and PA Systems, and Telecommunications Rough-in. The project included a new 6-story glass tower, a 2-story parking garage and the remodel of the historic Cret Building built in 1917.

ERMCO's versatility was highlighted through the custom furniture and custom lighting packages included in our contract. To insure the integrity of the historic building, original light fixtures were refurbished and custom lighting was created to match those fixtures. Custom lighting systems were also incorporated into many pieces of the specially designed furniture such as shelving and computer tables. Another interesting aspect of this project is that over two miles of LED lighting was used.

Our prefabrication department was key to the success of this project. With challenging on-site scheduling and so many unique and custom features, many of the components were constructed and stored in our pre-fab facilities, and then delivered to the jobsite for "just-in-time: installation.
