When Meritage Hospitality Group embarked on an aggressive expansion plan to develop over thirty (30) retail sites throughout West Michigan, they turned to Driesenga & Associates, Inc. for fast turnaround and quality work on a variety of engineering, surveying, and environmental consulting services. Potential new sites are being evaluated by Driesenga & Associates, Inc. by conducting an environmental site assessment, boundary / topographic survey, and geotechnical soils investigation, as well as a preliminary evaluation of available utilities and storm water management options. Once these steps have successfully been completed, our engineers work with the project architect to develop the site plan, design the storm water management, utilities, and grading plans, and prepare applications for the various local, county, and state agency permits required for construction. Throughout the construction phase, Driesenga & Associates, Inc. provides all surveying and construction staking. Our materials engineers and technicians also provide construction inspection and materials testing services on the soil, aggregate, concrete, masonry, and steel to verify that all materials meet project specifications.
