Driesenga & Associates, Inc. completed several conceptual layouts based on direction from Ashley Capital, and coordinated with the City of Grand Rapids, per their requirements, to make an application of two separate rezoning applications. Driesenga also prepared marketing drawings, as requested by Ashley Capital. Ashley Capital, a long term investor in high quality industrial and office space, purchased the approximately 206-acre Steelcase site located on the south side of the City of Grand Rapids, MI. As a proposed site for redevelopment, Ashley Capital wanted to rezone the property to create a mixed-use development that would enhance the marketing needs of the area. The mixed-use development included industrial, light industrial, commercial, office, and residential.
