The North Ridge Office Park is located on the southeast corner of Wolverine Blvd. (M-44) and Belding Road in Plainfield Township, MI. The development of the office park required the extension of approximately 840-feet of sanitary sewer and approximate 1,700-feet of water main to service the site. The extension of the water main to the project site required a bore and jack of approximately 150-feet diagonally from the northwest corner to the southeast corner of the intersection. Through the site development, coordination was required with Plainfield Township, MDOT, Kent County Department of Public Works, and the Kent County Road Commission. Driesenga & Associates, Inc. provided civil engineering design and drawings for the permitting and construction of the sanitary sewer, water main, and storm water management. Project challenges included coordination with MDOT to acquire a bore and jack permit and a storm water drainage permit, which included calculations and design through MDOT and Plainfield Township. Through the construction portion of the project, Driesenga & Associates, Inc. also completed construction staking and materials testing.
