Story

The Ledgestone Development is a mixed use planned unit development (PUD) which included site design for a 32 unit condominium and a restaurant facility project located adjacent to the East Beltline in Grand Rapids Township. Coordination was completed with the developers, local municipalities, adjacent property owners, and the contractor. The site challenges encountered included designing the storm water system to maintain the existing watersheds on site, extending sanitary sewer through the neighboring property to provide service to the community, and coordinating permits and easements with four different property owners. Design engineering, surveying, geotechnical engineering, condominium document preparation, and construction staking were provided by Driesenga & Associates. Design engineering included site layout, site plan approval through the Township, sanitary sewer and watermain design per the City of Grand Rapids standards and requirements.
