Story

Driesenga & Associates provided our full scope of services including topographic survey, geotechnical investigations, site design engineering, construction staking and construction materials testing. The site was developed in accordance with City of Grand Rapids standards and was designed to incorporate shared access and storm water facilities with the Cadillac and Lexus Dealership property. Driesenga engineers collaborated with the developer to provide a feature location for the required test track element. Harvey Automotive Group purchased the 1.7 acre property adjacent to their Cadillac and Lexus Dealership at 2600 28th Street SE in order to expand to include a Hummer sales facility. The former restaurant site was redeveloped to include a 7,650 square foot sales building, an outdoor new vehicle sales lot, an off road test track, as well as the required drainage and utility improvements.
