Story

Design Plus provided concept design, design development, interior design, furniture selection and specification for the 58,440 SF interior renovation of an existing six-story hotel on the island of Maui. Design Plus also provided project leadership during the construction documentation, bidding, and construction phases of the project, working closely with local architect, Riecke Sunnland & Kono Architects, the Architect of Record. The project included a complete mechanical and electrical systems replacement and renovation. The project was completed in November 2001 with a total cost of $5,900,000 including site modifications. Design Plus also provided design services for a donor recognition element, as well as mechanical system issue investigation services, which were completed in January 2005, with a total cost of $204,000.
