Design Plus was hired to provide architectural, interior design, site/landscape, structural engineering coordination, bidding assistance, and construction administration services for a new 83,000+ SF new academic building on GVSU’s Allendale Campus, adjacent to the existing Mackinac Hall. Designed as a LEED project, the new facility will house classrooms, case rooms, student study areas, faculty offices, academic department offices, conference rooms, work/file rooms, GIS lab, gathering spaces, IT, and other support spaces. The project is currently under construction with anticipated completion in August of 2008, and an estimated construction budget of $13,200,000.
