Design Plus provided programming, design, implementation, and food service consultant coordination for a new 56,000 SF clubhouse complete with luxury locker room facilities, three dining areas supported by complete kitchen facilities, ballroom, prep kitchen, service bar, other athletic amenities including tennis courts, pro shop, rain shed, tennis shed, golf starter’s shed, and other supporting areas including surface parking and gated entry drive. A separate 4,300 SF pool house was also constructed on site with a 25 yard x 25 meter pool. Total construction cost for the clubhouse was $4,600,000, and $691,000 for the pool house. The entire project was completed by April 1991, and won the Grand Valley AIA Distinguished Building Award in 1992.
