Located in the Heartside area of Grand Rapids, this new 38,500 SF facility will be a multi-functional, temporary residence and resource center, offering free lodging and support for cancer patients and their caregivers during treatment. The lodge will feature 20 private guest suites, large kitchen and dining area, cozy living rooms for relaxation and companionship, libraries offering internet connection and access, garden areas for refuge from struggles with serious illness, meditation room, game room and fitness center. The building will also house the administrative offices for the local ACS chapter. Construction was completed in November 2007 with an construction cost of $5,625,000.
