University of Michigan Biomedical Science Research Building

Ann Arbor, Michigan

Masonry-Contractor

Story

When buildings are built at the University of Michigan, you can always assume there will be site restrictions. Tower cranes and hydraulic scaffold are a necessity. One unique feature of this project was the design of an elliptical addition that was clad in granite. Many hours of field dimensions and 3D computer-aided shop drawings were necessary in the fabrication and erection of the granite.
