CR is the corporate architect for First Watch Restaurants. Supporting their national expansion, CR implements the corporate design concept and adapts the prototypical design to meet the requirements of each specific site. The integrity of the design is maintained using CR’s streamlined, roll-out process.
CR has completed more than 60 projects for Lay-Z-Boy Corporate, individual dealers and regional developers to support the retailer's growth demands. CR's sophisticated rollout system has allowed our team to meet the project needs whether using the build-to-suit, design-build or design-bid-build delivery model.
CR converted a 1920s, 43,000-sf, concrete and brick warehouse building into a showroom for high-end furniture, lighting and home accessories. The design conveys a loft-style look with exposed/industrial high ceilings, providing Voltage the space and layout needed to showcase products. The first two floors serve as showrooms. Three additional floors offer storage and lease office space.
CR created a two-story, custom Kroger design featuring brick and cast stone facade, dimensional roof shingles, custom exterior signage, and shadow boxes at street level. The design blends with the existing architecture, fits into the tight, urban site, and conforms to city guidelines.
Since 2001, CR has completed more than 200 new construction, remodel, prototype and custom projects for Walgreens, regional developers and national real estate investment trusts by implementing our efficient roll-out system. The prototypes support Walgreens’ distinct identity, keep them up on retail trends, and ensure a customer-centric store.
CR is the Midwest Regional Architect for the Kroger Company. CR has been involved with more than 175 projects over the past 15 years, maintaining the design prototype and brand integrity. CR also developed and maintains the specifications for the national Kroger system.
