Story

This unique wooden building houses the Great Lakes School of Wooden Boat Building. A nationally known learning facility teaching the lost art of building a boat by hand. The building consists of a milling room, workshop, finish room and classrooms. Classic Engineering provided mechanical, plumbing and electrical engineering for The Architect Forum on this project. A radiant floor heating system was designed for the HVAC and special ventilation was provided in the finishing room.
