This project features a variety of custom fabricated exterior finish systems furnished and installed by AGM including continuous length mechanically seamed curved standing seam metal roofing, pattern cut fascia & trim, custom formed Kalwall skylights engineered to follow the curvature of the metal roof system, custom fabricated aluminum plate accent brackets, vertically tapered composite aluminum panel fins integrated into the aluminum glazing system and pigmented natural zinc wall panels custom fabricated to create a unique shadowbox design. AGM also furnished and installed most of the interior glass & glazing systems including custom wood grain painted curtainwall system separating the Council Chambers from the main lobby areas. The custom finish applied to the aluminum framing was developed to match the gluelam beams and other natural finishes featured throughout this Native American owned facility. AGM worked with the design and construction teams pre and post bid to help develop and refine critical interface details as required to maintain design intent, achieve desired performance and comply with budget and schedule expectations. By being awarded a Single-Source enclosure contract AGM was able to coordinate engineering and manufacturing processes of multiple material suppliers as required to facilitate a seamless integration of critical building envelope systems without compromise to established performance or aesthetic goals.
Project includes approximately 25,000 +/- sf of engineered curtainwall, custom fabricated metal panels and custom fabricated sunshade assemblies furnished and installed by Architectural Glass & Metals.
Overall project includes approximately 15,000 SF of aluminum curtainwall framing with 1" insulated glazing and/or insulated translucent panels by Kalwall along with tappered aluminum plate accent fins and sunshades custom fabricated by FC&A. Project also includes 2-3/4" insulated translucent wall panel system with standard and radius top design at select locations around entire facility. Architectural Glass & Metals worked with the design and construction team to refine material integration details as required to achieve design intent and maintain weather-tight integrity of each system provided.
This project features a variety of custom fabricated glazing systems furnished and installed by AGM including high performance triple glazed curtainwall with multiple custom face cap extensions, interior sill extensions, integrated shadowbox assemblies, vertically and horizontally oriented sunshade assemblies, composite panel window surrounds, stainless steel reveal channels throughout the masonry veneer and custom fabricated patina copper shingle panels installed on (5) surfaces of the reading room space that floats four stories above the north lobby concourse. AGM also furnished and installed most of the interior glass & glazing systems including typical aluminum storefront framing and monolithic heavy glass walls extending floor to ceiling with custom curved panels at lobby overlook locations. AGM worked with the design and construction teams pre and post bid to help develop and refine critical interface details and thermal modeling analysis as required to maintain design intent and confirm thermal performance expectations. By being awarded a Single-Source enclosure contract AGM was able to coordinate engineering and manufacturing processes of multiple material suppliers as required to facilitate a seamless integration of critical building envelope systems without compromise to established performance or aesthetic goals.
Project includes approximately 3,500 sf of engineered curtainwall with inverted slope and 15,000 sf of custom fabricated composite aluminum panles, profiled siding, curved standing seam metal roofing and sunshades furnished and installed by Architectural Glass & Metals, Inc. Due to the complex geometry of the proposed design coupled with significant accessibility challenges associated with the downtown location, fabrication of the new building envelope was based on theoretical dimensions and digital scans of the existing building in lieu of field measurments.
Project includes approximately 25,000 sf of engineered curtainwall, concealed vent windows, translucent skylights and custom fabricated insulated metal panels furnished and installed by Architectural Glass & Metals as required to complete the entire building enclosure system.
Project includes approximately 80,000 sf of custom fabricated insulated metal panels, 10,000 sf of engineered curtainwall and (8) custom fabricated aluminum sunshade trellises furnished and installed by Architectural Glass & Metals, Inc. Project is slated for LEED Gold certification
The Steelcase Work Lab project was developed around an extremely accelerated construction schedule requiring Architectural Glass and Metals to work closely with the CM, architect, and our metal panel supplier to custom fabricate 4mm composite aluminum panels from theoretical dimensions generated from the architectural design drawings and a small amount of guaranteed dimensions determined for the structural steel support framing. This project was inclusive of unique detailing that required the use of oversized ceiling and wall panels exceeding 16'-0” in length, as well as complex curved panels that were fabricated and shipped to the jobsite without the benefit of field measuring as required to meet schedule constraints. Given the highly ornate nature of this project, in conjunction with the intended use as a “show piece” for Steelcase, attention to detail was paramount. Precise alignment of ¼” wide panel joints, seamless integration of cut-outs for louvers, light fixtures and control devices as well as exaggerated criterion for panel flatness, were among the many critical detail challenges successfully resolved by our panel fabrication and installation crews. The AGM installation team dedicated multiple 16 hour days to achieve accelerated schedule requirements and to successfully resolve many complex interface conditions as required to achieve the high level aesthetic expectations established by the ownership team. AGM successfully completed our portion of the project on time and on budget while maintaining quality standards consistent with the owner's high expectations.
Project includes approximately 7,500 sf of frameless structural glass walls and roof, insulated translucent skylights by Kalwall and 4,000 sf of custom fabricated composite aluminum panels furnished and installed by Architectural Glass & Metals, Inc. The frameless structural glass systems enclosing the entrance lobby of the newly renovated Depot exemplifies the high level of detail and craftmenship representative throughout the entire project.
