Allied Electric has done electrical work for several Jack Loek’s  theater complexes, including Celebration! Cinema Grand Rapids South (at M-6) and Celebration! Cinema Crossroads (Portage, MI). We’re required to keep the integrity of the sound containment in each theater. Everything we do is geared toward that sound containment.

The world of movie theaters and sound is nothing new for the Allied Electric team. In addition to the two mentioned, Allied was electrical contractor for Celebration! North in Grand Rapids and for three West Michigan theaters (in Lansing, Mount Pleasant and Benton Harbor), serving as design-build contractor on all but the Benton Harbor theater. The Lansing project involved an addition to an existing theater, and the Celebration! Cinema Crossroads project involved a two-phase total renovation and addition to an existing theater. Allied also worked in Muskegon on Cinema Carousel (renovation and addition) and the Getty Drive-In Theater. We have a good relationship with them. We continue to do their service work as well.
