The project transformed the 73-year-old Shaw Lane Power Plant into the new MSU STEM teaching and learning facility. Multiple fire suppression systems, including 1,990 sprinklers, 25,452 feet of pipe, and a fire pump were installed to protect Michigan's first mass timber project.
