The Peak Pool and Fitness Center at Crystal Mountain Resort Completed
AAI provided architectural services for the Peak Pool and Spa. This project consisted of additions and renovations to an existing building housing a pool and locker rooms. The new facilities added include: an extensive weight and cardio room, a room for aerocbics and yoga classes, retail and reception space, and a full serivce spa with new locker rooms, treatment rooms, and a meditiation lounge and exterior courtyard. AAI sought to integrate the design of the building with the surrounding architecture, highlighting its "northern michigan" feel. The project is also slated to receive LEED certification. AAI played the primary role in guiding the project through the LEED certificaton process.
